Weaving a web of recruitment

Welcome to Project Athena

Project Athena is program created to recruit and train the next generation of Library and Information Studies (LIS) faculty. It was designed to do so by providing doctoral fellowships and creating tools which are available on this website. Project Athena was funded by grants from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), a U.S. government agency. While Project Athena is currently unable to offer fellowships, we welcome and encourage use of the tools we have developed.
