Research Interests: Library services to Hispanics, Outreach, Information Demographics, the Reference Process.

Work Experience: Five years teaching experience in Elementary and High Schools. Taught undergraduate and graduate level courses at Florida State, and multiple workshops and training sessions throughout the places I worked. Eight years working experience in Public and Academic Libraries. Experienced in strategic planning and budget analysis. Currently teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at Florida State.

Career Goals: To become a professor and researcher in the field.; to work with professional organizations and community groups; to encourage students (especially minorities) to be involved with information policy and usage, education and careers; complete independent research projects and write to contribute to the LIS information knowledge base.

Hobbies: Movies, playing with my kids, playing music (organ, piano), landscape/digital photography, reading.
