Partner Schools
What is a "partner school"? Our partner schools are drawn from the 18 Library and Information Studies (LIS) doctoral degree granting institutions. Partner schools have made a commitment to collaborate on a new approach to preparing future faculty in the LIS. (See also Sponsor Schools).
Project Coordinators. Each partner school has a coordinator who recruits and oversees the education of the fellows and is the point of contact and administrator for each schools contribution to the project. Partner school coordinators are listed under Contact Us.
Course and Support. Once a year, each partner school offers the Project Athena course designed to prepare future faculty. In addition, partner schools provide tuition and other financial support for the activities of fellows. The roster below lists the current Project Athena partner schools and provides links to their websites.
